Biography

Karim SETHOM obtained the national diploma of Chartered Accountant (BAC+5 + 3 years of professional training). After gaining solid experience in several renowned accounting firms, he founded Horizons Audit & Consulting in 2006.

Throughout his career, he audited major public enterprises (Tunisia Telecom, Soretras, Trapsa, ETAP) as well as numerous private sector clients including SMEs and micro-enterprises (Biscuit Saïda, Fromagerie Président, Sotubi, Mouradi & Nahrawess Hotels, TIMPHARMA, Verrerie de Naassen, etc.).

In parallel, he has been teaching accounting and auditing at the Higher Institute of Business Studies in Tunis and has conducted numerous professional training sessions both inter- and intra-company.

Karim SETHOM has also supported Tunisian startups, helping them develop business plans, access funding, and benefit from tax incentives and financial mechanisms. He has advised business angels and gained deep insight into the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and investors.

From 2007 to 2009, he was elected to the Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Tunisia (OECT), where he chaired several committees (SME IFRS adaptation, ISA promotion, profession development) and represented Tunisia in international bodies (IFAC, IASB).

In 2010, he was part of the team behind the development of the Tunisian e-tax return system, a project led by the Ministry of Finance and funded by the European Community.

A polyglot (Arabic, French, English, Italian), Karim SETHOM is recognized for his multidisciplinary expertise and ability to combine professional excellence with international standards.

Biographie

Ms. Ines GAFSI holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the Higher Institute of Accounting and Business Administration (ISCAE).

She has accumulated several years of teaching experience at ISCAE and has also served as a technical advisor within the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Tunisia. In this capacity, she organized numerous seminars and conferences and was responsible for drafting various reports for commissions and committees established within the Institute.

Since 2014, Ines GAFSI has joined Horizons Audit & Consulting as a Manager, where she successfully implemented a quality control system and streamlined the organization of different services.

She also regularly advises foreign companies relocating to Tunisia, providing valuable insight into the practical challenges faced by international investors in the local environment.

Biographie

Mr. Karim BEN ABDALLAH holds a Professional Master’s degree in Banking and Financial Markets.

He has been part of Horizons Audit & Consulting for more than 10 years, where he supervises bookkeeping missions and contributes to the implementation of the firm’s IT organization.

Karim BEN ABDALLAH is responsible for financial reporting on behalf of companies with an international dimension, providing them with regular assistance.

At the methodological level, he supports the design and planning of tasks, as well as the implementation of IT tools to improve efficiency.

He ensures continuous technological monitoring to guarantee access to the most advanced solutions. He is also in charge of legal and tax updates, keeping clients informed of the latest developments.
